Animus Theatre present the Tennessee Williams Collected Shorts on stage at Theatre Row, consisting of The Long Goodbye; Moony’s Kid Don’t Cry, The Pink Bedroom; Talk To Me Like The Rain and Let Me Listen. This marks the first time this group of plays has been staged together in New York City. The plays carry the audience on a journey through the human soul and illuminate our inherent resilience when faced with our fears, fading dreams and unrequited love.
Opening Friday 26th April and running until May 2nd, Matthew is directing a talented diverse cast including Zachary Spicer, Karen Sours, Mary Thornton, Haley Bond, Dr. Rhonda Dodd, Trevor Kluckman, Al Miro, Eric William Morris, Courtney Shaw and Jeff Todesco.
Matthew took these amazing photographs of the cast during rehearsals, thank you Animus for sharing them.
Our favourite quote is, “As an artist, whatever you do in this crazy world, you’re trying to do something that’s different from other people. You’re out in this world alone. When you find people that are like-minded, you hold on to them dearly. It’s been a great experience.”
We hope everyone involved with this production has the most amazing experience and enjoys every moment of it!
